Every disorder and condition can be helped by learning how to breathe. Most of us take shallow breaths in and out, leaving us with little oxygen and too much CO2. Inhaling deeper belly breaths not only brings in more oxygen to cleanse our system, but releases CO2 from our systems and creates calming chemicals to offset fight or flight responses.

Note from Jinjee: To re-learn how to do belly breaths, watch a baby breathing...To do it yourself, lie on your back and put your hand on your belly. You'll feel it rise and fall. We still remember how to take belly breaths when we're lying down...Or, while standing or sitting, put your hand on your belly and shout "hey!" or strongly say "shhhh!" and you'll feel the air push out from your belly and rush back in to your belly. Now you have remembered how to take belly breaths, take a few deep ones on purpose. Feels great!
