What I ate: Orange juice, pistachios and pecans (handful) w/wasabi, parsley salad with lemon for dressing.

You COULD just cut to the chase - not make it into a long drawn-out battle - "Just Do It" as Nike says. Eat the way you know is right: light, small portions, when hungry, be hungry often for long time, stop before full, have lean times, eat with love consciousnjess, bless your food, eat from the garden or as close to it as possible, drink water, eat between 12 and 6 only, eat what your body tells you to within the raw-vegan whole food realm, don't overeat - ever!

Just think of all the other battles you'll be free to focus on once this is licked - people, career, spirit, etc...But you'll have self control, self determination, which makes the other battles easier. You'll have the energy, vitality, beauty, power and health to make the other battles easier.

I had a good morning, eating very light, and felt an angel pat me on the back and say "That's ALL you have to do!" (Eat light)..."And everything else will be easy! All of life's stresses dissolve when you are not stressed in your stomach. But when you are stressed in your stomach/colon, everything becomes stressful!"

So, lean times are good! No fear, - faith! REALLY, nothing to fear about lean times! They're healthy!! If we accept that lean times are good, that would be the end of a lot of fear and greed which would mean the end of war and so many other problems!

If feels good to be hungry, to eat light, then to eat a carrot. Flavors you never imagined come out of a simple food then - reminding me of my childhood. I hadn't really TASTED a carrot since then, until now!!!

MOMENTUM

You have to understand that eating healthily is easy once you get going, once you gather momentum! Like anything else, it seems much harder than it is until you START! Starting can sometimes be more than half the battle.

Sometimes something will happen to get you started - you'll be too busy to eat for half a day and you'll notice how good that feels. You are gathering momentum to propel you forward on your path of taking care of yourself. Sometimes you'll just feel like doing something good for you like drinking lots of water or going for a long walk - these things can jump-start you on the path to taking care of yourself, giving you the momentum that if you sieze the opportunity and keep the momentum going, can make the health habit easy! We're just creatures of habit. A good path is just as easy as a bad path, ~easier really - it just looks harder when you are caught in a cycle of bad habits.

ENZYMES

Someone said that it is nonsense that food enzymes break down the foods in the stomach. They say that the stomach juices kill the enzymes. But I would guess that science hasn't done any testing on raw foods without the presence of cooked foods in the stomach.

Enzymes help fruit ripen and break down, part of the same cycle. So it makes sense that the enzymes would break down the food in the stomach too. And it makes sense that science assumes that the food enzymes don't work in the stomach because with cooked food they don't. Science concluded that the stomach juices inactivated the enzymes. Whereas in truth the heat in cooking deactivated the enzymes long before the stomach juices ever hit them. So it is an impossible statement that the "stomach juices de-activated the enzymes".

~Durian and Durian/OJ smoothie 9:30

~Shale's lefover OJ (1/2 glass) 10:00

~Bite of coconut, sip of coconut milk, one tamarind (while preparing food for kids) 11:00

~Cashews, seaweed, wakame 11:30 (got too full!)

~Glass of water 12:30

~2 apples (full again!) 1:30

~Coconut Smoothie 3:00

~1/2 apple, cashews and seaweed 7:00

~Small salad w/lemon for dressing that Raven made me 7:30

~Parsley salad that Storm made me 8:00 (too full by now to eat much!)

I can't believe I overate all day!!!! Maybe I'm just getting so big - at 6 months pregnant now, that I don't have room for as much food and have to get in the habit of eating less food at a time...

Hiked an hour w/Storm and Jome

~10:00 OJ

cleaned house and worked on website

~1:00 Tamarinds, celery and tahini cheese w/vinegar (I feel vinegar is yuck so just ate a bit!), Celery Salad w/seaweed and tahini dressing and jamaican curry spice (didn't overeat!)

~3:00 OJ and orange slices

~4:00 Tahini Cheese with seaweed

~6:00 Green Juice

Ate pretty light!

~2:30 maple candy, 3 raw power cracker bars, kalamata olives, banana, apple

~6:00 Salad and tahini dressing
